Hibiscus

from $1.75

Hibiscus has a red color and fruity flavor. The plant is used to make a wellness tea, as an ingredient in cosmetics and as a natural dye. The beautiful, deep red and purplish-hued dried flowers lend an attractive red color to teas that have it as an ingredient. Naturally caffeine-free, tart and colorful, hibiscus tea is delightful on its own (hot or cold, sweetened or not) or as the basis of a wellness herbal tea blend. It combines especially well with green or black teas and with other herbs such as peppermint, rosehips, spearmint, linden leaf and lemongrass.
